UTC has teamed with DAMM Cellular Systems to provide an eight-part webinar series that addresses several topics related land mobile radio system design. Topics include traffic management theory, outdoor and indoor propagation, IP traffic concepts and TETRA radio air interface technology. The sessions are led by an engineer with over twenty years of experience in TETRA system solutions design. Professional development hour (PDH) certificates will be available for sessions attended.

The webinar covers the basics of availability prediction in telecommunication systems. Focus is on how reliability block diagrams can be used to calculate the service availability, failure rate and maintenance intervals in complex networks. Aim is to have a clear understanding of concepts used for availability prediction as well as being able to setup and read a reliability block diagram for a telecommunication system.
