Summary: How Utilities Empower Broadband Deployment
Electric utilities are key partners in deploying broadband across the U.S. With many cooperative and public-power utilities already providing broadband to their customers, and large investor-owned utilities supporting broadband deployment as well, numerous state and local officials are viewing electric utilities as part of the solution to bridging the rural broadband gap. In this session, attendees will learn about the myriad ways utilities are enabling broadband
deployment. Case studies with lessons learned will be discussed as well.
