Summary: Small-Cell Pole Attachment Best Practices from CPS Energy 

 

Recent federal rules on small-cell deployment could result in a massive influx of installations on utility poles. These new rules will undoubtedly impact your utility. In this session, attendees will learn from utilities who have gone through some of this already.

 

The speaker will discuss an overview of the best industry practices for small-cell installations on electric utility poles. The presentation will draw on the work of CPS Energy and other utilities in this area. In addition, the speaker will explain the changes in the wireless industry leading to the proliferation of small-cell deployments on utility poles and the regulatory and legislative activities occurring at the federal level and in many states impacting small-cell deployment.
