Description:
As the industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and operational technology (OT) continue to evolve and grow, Cloud has introduced extraordinary opportunities for utilities to transform and monetize assets, serve customers with novel offerings and scale their business. This has introduced a range of benefits, including greater flexibility to accommodate new energy sources, better management of assets as well as greater reliability of services. But as operating systems have become increasingly connected to the Internet, it has also increased the potential for damaging cyber-attacks. CISO’s now need to mitigate risks from cloud-connected machinery, warehouse systems, and smart devices scattered among hundreds of workstations. Managing those security risks includes the need to ensure safety in manufacturing, oil and gas facilities, public utilities, transportation, civic infrastructure, and more.

Modern attacks represent a serious security and availability challenge for infrastructure operators because even a short amount of down-time or latency can significantly impact the delivery of essential services. As the threat landscape evolves, attacks are growing in complexity and persistency, and zero-day attacks are exploiting those newly discovered vulnerabilities. Analysts predict that we’ll have roughly 21.5 billion IoT devices connected worldwide in 2025, drastically increasing the surface area for attacks. Because embedded devices often go unpatched, CISO’s need new strategies to mitigate IIoT/OT risks that differ in crucial ways from those found in information technology (IT).  Costly production outages, safety failures with injuries or loss of life, environmental damage leading to liability—all are potentially disastrous scenarios that have moved IIoT and OT to the center of cyber threat management.

To keep up with the growing sophistication of cyberattacks, it’s essential that utility companies maintain comprehensive visibility across their network and deploy monitoring, detection, and mitigation, solutions. Join Radware’s experts for a special 60 minute webinar on detecting and mitigating cloud native threats.

In this webinar you will learn:
  • What makes cloud security so different than on-prem
  • What the key security threats to cloud environments are
  • Which attack vectors are new and unique (or simply much more harmful) to cloud environments
  • How Radware helps its customers detect and mitigate cloud threats before they result in a breach
Registration is FREE for ALL Attendees!!!
