UTC has teamed with DAMM Cellular Systems to provide an eight-part webinar series that addresses several topics related land mobile radio system design. Topics include traffic management theory, outdoor and indoor propagation, IP traffic concepts and TETRA radio air interface technology. The sessions are led by an engineer with over twenty years of experience in TETRA system solutions design. Professional development hour (PDH) certificates will be available for sessions attended.

The webinar describes the key elements in LTE networks providing mission critical service. Focus is on interoperability with narrowband systems and how mission critical services can be deployed. The session also takes a critical view on issues to be addressed to meet the requirements for mission critical use.  Aim is to have a clear view on the network elements used for mission critical services over LTE. This will help to understand the possible deployment models related to common use cases.
